Ellen Island Camp is located on an island in the north-end of the Famous Lady Evelyn Lake. Lady Evelyn Lake is well known for having the very best Walleye fishing in Northeastern Ontario yet receives very little Walleye fishing pressure because of its remote location. Not only will you catch high numbers of Walleyes, the average size Walleye is twice the size of most lakes farther north. Lady Evelyn lake is the top Walleye hotspot in north-eastern Ontario and has produced Walleyes up to 20 pounds. The new waterfront cottages are clean and roomy with a fully equipped kitchen for housekeeping and a 3-piece bath. Total comfort, excellent service and fantastic Walleye fishing is what Ellen Island Camp is all about.
Garden Island Lodge is a remote lodge on Lady Evelyn Lake and only accessible by floatplane or boat. Lady Evelyn Lake is one of the top Walleye lakes in Ontario for both size and numbers. No other lake in Ontario produces as many Walleyes over 30 inches with massive Walleyes as big as 18 pounds being caught and released. They are the only lodge located in the southern section of the lake, which just happens to be where the best fishing is. You also have access to go through the narrows on the way to Willow lake where you can catchs hoards of good eating size walleyes in the two-pound range. Northern Pike and Smallmouth Bass are also available but Walleyes are the dominant species. They offer both American Plan and housekeeping accommodations.
