Ellen Island Camp is located on an island in the north-end of the Famous Lady Evelyn Lake. Lady Evelyn Lake is well known for having the very best Walleye fishing in Northeastern Ontario yet receives very little Walleye fishing pressure because of its remote location. Not only will you catch high numbers of Walleyes, the average size Walleye is twice the size of most lakes farther north. Lady Evelyn lake is the top Walleye hotspot in north-eastern Ontario and has produced Walleyes up to 20 pounds. The new waterfront cottages are clean and roomy with a fully equipped kitchen for housekeeping and a 3-piece bath. Green Wilderness Lodge & Outpost Camp is located in Northern Ontario between Timmins & Gogama. They are located in the north arm of Mattagami Lake, which is well known for having great Walleye fishing. Walleyes are available in all sizes but are most common in the 2 to 4-pound range. Their lake has big rivers and many feeder streams, which produces great spawning grounds for Walleye thus keeping the population high. Giant trophy Walleyes over 10 pounds get caught and released on a regular basis. They have nice cottages and boat-to outpost camps both on Mattagai Lake and smaller inland lakes. They also offer day-trips to fly-in trophy Walleye lakes.
Lac Seul's Scout Lake Resort & McKenzie Bay Outpost: Scout Lake is a remote corner of Lac Seul and located at the south-west end of the lake. People who have fished Lac Seul before know these smaller back-water lakes, that are attached to Lac Seul, provide the best Walleye fishing and produce the biggest Walleyes. These lakes are the main Walleye spawning grounds for Lac Seul. It has been speculated that as the Musky population grows the Walleyes are migrating to these satellite lakes and bays to protect themselves as Musky like to stay close to big open water. Not only can you expect the legendary numbers of Walleyes that Lac Seul is famous for; you can expect to catch trophies over 30 inches. Fishing for trophy Northern Pike is excellent everywhere and a boat ride through the narrows into the main body of Lac Seul will get you into some monster Musky. The resort has clean and cozy housekeeping cabins as well as remote outpost camp on McKenzie Bay, which sleeps eight people.
Northwest Outfitters is a small and remote outpost lodge located on Shoal Lake and not far from the narrows leading to Lake of the Woods. Shoal Lake is a year round Walleye sanctuary. You cannot keep the Walleyes you catch in Shoal Lake. This is a catch-&-release Trophy Walleye Lake. It's the main spawning ground for all of Lake of the Woods and produces the biggest Walleyes you will find anywhere. It's also your best chance at catching the biggest Walleye of your life. This is Heaven for trophy Walleye hunters. Walleyes in the five to ten pound range are common. If you want to keep and eat Walleyes it is not that far to Lake of the Woods and out of the Walleye sanctuary. They offer an American Plan option and guiding. Their modern cottages are clean and comfortable. They also offer outstanding fishing for Musky, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass and Lake Trout. These species are not protected in the Walleye sanctuary so regular limits apply.
Red Pine Lodge & Outpost Camps is located in the James Bay Frontier and in the heart of some of the best Walleye fishing in Ontario. Their main lodge is on the famous Ivanhoe Lake and not too far from Foleyet, Ontario. They have outstanding fishing for Walleye with great numbers and huge tropy Walleye. They offer both lakeside cottages at their main camp and remote boat-to outpost camps and a fly-in outpost camp.
Lake Onaping Lodge & Northern Wilderness Outpost Camps is located on Lake Onaping, which has the best reputation for monster-size trophy Walleyes. In addition to big Walleye, smaller Walleyes in the 1 to 3-pound range can be caught in big numbers. This is big water and produces big fish. The northern part of the lake where the outpost camps are located is dotted with hundreds of islands and tons of Walleye hotspots. The lodge is located on the west shore and outpost cabins are located in various remote locations at the north-end of Lake Onaping. They also have great fishing for Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass and the southern end of the lake has monster Lake Trout.
Cozy Camp is located on the famous English River in Northern Ontario and up stream from Lac Seul. They have fantastic fishing for Walleye. Walleye average around 2.5 pounds with many Walleye over 10 pounds being caught and released all summer. From Cozy Camp you have access to 14 miles of Barrel Lake and 18 miles of the Walleye stuffed English River. They offer housekeeping cabins and outpost camps. They also have fantastic fishing for monster Northern Pike and huge Smallmouth Bass. A short drive from camp are lakes with Lake Trout, Brook Trout and Splake.
Prairie Bee Outpost Camp is located on Prairie Bee Lake, which is located between Chapleau and Wawa, Ontario. They have great Walleye fishing. Guests can expect to catch between 20 and 40 Walleyes per day with really good days where you can catch well over 50 Walleyes. The Walleyes are most common in the 1 to 3 pound range but 10 pounders over 30 inches are available. At the far west end of the lake they have an extremely remote outpost camp. The main camp is located at the north-east end of the lake. Both camps are extremely remote boat-to camps. From the main camp you have access to Windermere Lake, which is one of the best Walleye lakes in Ontario.
