Auld Reekie Lodge & Outfitters is located 3 hours north of North Bay near the town of Gowganda and located on Gowganda Lake. Giant Trophy Walleyes is their claim to fame. There is a string of lakes starting with Gowganda Lake and this string heads down through Lady Evelyn-Smoothwater Provincial Park and down all the way to Cedar Lake in Algonquin Park, which is the headwater for the Petawawa River. In these lakes the average size Walleye is 4 pounds with Walleyes in the 5 to 7 pound range being caught every day. The Walleye fishing in their main lake is quality, not quantity. You may only catch 10 to 15 Walleyes per day but your chances of catching a Walleye in the 8 to 13 pound range is outstanding. If you want quantity, they have boat caches on backcountry lakes where you can catch 100 Walleyes in a day. This is tons of fun but don't expect to catch any Walleyes over 5 pounds on these portage lakes, even though there have been 8 and 9 pounders. They have beautiful lakefront cottages along with a main lodge restaurant and British Pub style bar. They offer American Plan, European Plan and housekeeping plan.

Sunbeam Bungalows Resort is located in sheltered Callander Bay, on the southeast shore of Lake Nipissing, easy to reach by highway from Toronto in 3 to 3 1/2 hours. Callander Bay offers excellent walleye fishing and gives you shelter and safety in comparison to the rest of the lake. Walleye are plentiful in the 2-3 pound range, with larger walleye in the 4-5 pound range, with trophy catches over 10lbs. Olive the Lake Lodge is a family cottage rental resort and Walleye fishing lodge located on the Marten River, which is between North Bay & Temagami. From camp you can fish many miles of the Marten River for tasty Walleyes. Good numbers of eating-size Walleyes are available with the occasional trophy Walleye over 10 pounds. There are also many other lakes in the area, which you can drive to with good Walleye fishing. Their clean lakeside cabins are warm and cozy and fully equipped for housekeeping.

Indian Point Camp is located at the south-west corner of Wabigoon Lake. Wabigoon Lake is one of the most enjoyable Walleye lakes to fish because it is not a deep lake. It's not one of those lakes where the Walleyes take off into deep water by July and are much harder to catch. The Walleyes stay shallow all year, which makes it an easy lake to fish. The lake still exhibits prime Walleye habitat with rocky points, shoals, rocky ridges and shallow weed-lines that that slide into that 10 to 15-foot range, which is where the walleyes like to hide during the day. Not only will you catch lots of Walleyes, your chance at a trophy is very possible with many Walleyes in the 7 to 10-pound range being caught and released all summer. Wabigoon is a big lake and is famous for its gigantic fish. Indian Point Camp has cozy housekeeping cottages with fully equipped kitchens. The camp also has a weekly complementary buffett featuring delicious home-cooking. Fishing for Muskie, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Perch and Crappie is also excellent.

Four Seasons Guiding & Cottages is a small and cozy family-run fishing camp on Big Pine Lake and located in a remore region with the closest town being Chapleau, Ontario. Their personal service is just as good as their fantastic Walleye fishing. Cam's camp is the only camp on the lake and since it's too far away from Chaplea; the locals never fish it. You will feel you have the lake to yourself. Walleyes are available in great numbers as well as big trophy Walleye. West Branch Camp is a Walleye fishing camp on Biscotasing Lake in North-Central Ontario. The lake has excellent Walleye fishing as they are the dominant species in the lake. Walleyes are most common in the 15" to 18" range but there are plenty of fish in the 18" to 24" range. It's a big lake and produces big fish. Walleye are available up and over 10 pounds. They offer nice cottages that are fully equipped for housekeeping. They also have great fishing for trophy Northern Pike, Perch and Whitefish.

Sandy Point Camp is located on Kawashegamuk Lake, which is between Dryden and Ignace, Ontario and in the deep wilderness. They have outstanding fishing for Walleye. They also have boat caches on 9 surrounding lakes, which will give you the opportunity to have a variety of fishing experiences but most of all, fantastic Walleye. On some of these lakes you will catch more Walleye in a day than a whole week at other lodges. The Walleyes get big as well. They have really nice housekeeping lakeside cabins and new boats & motors. Kawashegamuk Lake is one of Ontario's best hotspots for trophy freshwater fishing.

Bear Creek Cottages is a nice and clean family-run housekeeping fishing resort on Lake Nipissing near the town of Callander, Ontario. This is a great place for the family to have fun with their beautiful sandy beach. They also have good fishing for Walleye. Walleye average around two pounds but many big trophy fish get caught. They also have outstanding fishing for Northern Pike, Musky, Smallmouth Bass and Perch. They also offer ice fishing with both day huts and sleeper huts.

Hidden River Lodge is located on Whitefish Lake, which is part of the famous Michipicoten River System. The closest civilization is the tourist outpost town of Wawa, Ontario. Hidden Lake has great fishing for Walleye. The lakes and rivers are just stuffed with good eating size Walleyes and it's easy to catch many times your limit in one day. Guests do bring in trophy Walleye over 10 pounds. They have nice comfortable cabins and really nice boats.

Lower Twin Lakes Lodge is a drive-to camp and located 6 miles from Nakina, Ontario and on Lower Twin Lake. From their camp you have excellent Walleye fishing in both Upper and Lower Twin Lakes as well as Walleye fishing in the Drowning River. The lumber boom is over in Nakina and most people have moved away to find work. Combining the absence of Walleye fishing pressure from locals with new Walleye limits and size restrictions, the Walleye fishing in Upper & Lower Twin Lakes has improved immensely over the last 10 years. Walleyes are common in the 1 to 3 pound range but trophies in the 10-pound range do get caught and released during the summer. On an average day you should catch between 15 and 25 nice Walleyes. Accommodations are clean and comfortable lakeside housekeeping cottages. A limited-service campground with waterfront sites is also available.

Rugby Lake Lodge is located north-west of Dryden or North-east of Vermilion Bay, Ontario. They are a small family-owned fishing camp on Rugby Lake, which is one of the hottest Trophy Walleye lakes in the region. Their numbers for catching Walleye are not a high as a fly-in camps father north but the average size Walleye will be bigger and you also have a chance of catching one of their legendary Mega Walleyes that the lake is famous for. Depending on the weather guests can expect to catch 30 to 60 Walleyes in a day with the average being 3 pounds with lots of 4 and 5 pounders and a couple 6 pounders. This lake has an unusually high number of trophy Walleyes over 10 pounds. You have a great chance at catching your dream Walleye. The trophies are there because of Rugby Lake Lodge's conservation policy on letting all Walleyes over 18 inches go. They have clean comfortable lakefront housekeeping accommodations. They have additional fishing for Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Perch, Crappie with boat caches on a Lake Trout lake. They are open all winter for ice fishing.

Indian Lake Lodge is located on the famous Indian Chain of Lakes, which is north of Vermilion Bay, Ontario and not far from the Manitoba border. From their lodge you have nine lakes to boat through and all are stuffed with Walleye. There are tons of Walleyes in the 2 to 4 pound range with a good number of trophies in the 10 to 13 pound range being caught and released every year. If targeting Walleye you should catch a few in the 5 to 7 pound range during the course of the week. Numbers are high and the fishing is fantastic. They have cozy lakefront cottages that vary in size for small and lodge groups. They offer fantastic 18-foot fishing boat rentals with electric start motors and electric trolling motors. They also have fishing for Muskie, Smallmouth Bass, Lake Trout, Northern Pike and Perch.

Tumblehome Lodge is located north of Kingston and Belleville and west of Ottawa on the Frontinac Highlands and 15 minutes north of the village of Sharbot Lake and near Clarendon, Ontario. Their location is in the heart of the Land O' Lakes Tourism region. The lodge is located on Crotch Lake, which is the top inland Walleye fishing lake in all of Eastern Ontario. The average size Walleye is 20 inches. Because they have a slot size where all Walleyes need to be released over 19.5 inches; the lake has been transformed into a Mecca for trophy Walleye hunters with the fishing getting better and better every day. There are a lot of Walleyes between 25 and 30 inches being caught and released and the largest in recent years was 36 inches. You will not have a problem catching good eating size Walleyes in the 17" to 19" range. They offer housekeeping cottages of many different sizes to suit your group size. They have nice boats for rent. Crotch Lake also has awesome fishing for Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass and Largemouth Bass and the bass can be caught in gigantic numbers. This is a very friendly family-run resort and their cottages are very clean and well maintained.

Red Cedar Lake Camp is located north of North Bay and west of Marten River on a big Walleye-stuffed lake most people drive by and don't even know is there. Their Walleye fishing is the best in the region with guests catching between 10 and 25 Walleyes per day. Their claim-to-fame is the size of their Walleyes. There are a high number of Walleyes in the 7 to 10 pound range and sometimes Walleyes much bigger are caught. They have 11 lakefront cottages that sleep between 2 and 11 people. They offer American Plan and Housekeeping Plan with delicious home cooked meals served in their main lodge. They have fishing for Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass and Lake Trout on top of being the best Walleye lake in the area.

Vance's Resort is located at the mouth of the Spanish River and the North Channel, Lake Huron. They are south of Espanola Ontario. Vance's Resort has a great variety of excellent fishing. The Spanish River has Walleye Walleye fishing. At the mouth of the river heading into the north channel is where some monster Walleye roam. These Walleye like to stay close to the shallow weedy water in the north channel by the river mouth but also take advantage of all the food in Lake Huron so they grow to massive sizes. They offer housekeeping cottages and marina services. They also have great fishing for Musky, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass and can arrange charters out on the big lake for steelhead and salmon.

Murray Lake Cottages is located south of Missanabie and between Wawa and Chapleau, Ontario. They have outstanding Walleye fishing as Walleye are the dominant species in their lake. Not only can you catch trophies over 30 inches the numbers are there as well. Their guests enjoy catching 40 to 60 Walleyes per day on average and on really good days people have reported catching 100 Walleyes in a day. From Murray Lake you have boat access to McMurty Lake and Dog Lake for even more Walleye fishing opportunities. They also have boat caches on several remote backcountry portage lakes, which produce Walleye after Walleye. They have five lakefront housekeeping cabins that sleep between four and nine adults. They have two boat-to outpost camps on Loon Lake and Shikwamkwa Lake and both camps have fantastic Walleye and Northern Pike fishing. Their rates are the best in Ontario. They also have fishing for Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Lake Trout, Brook Trout and Perch.

McIntosh Lodge is a beautiful little family run lodge on famous Canyon Lake. The lake is famous for high numbers of Walleyeas well as big Trophy Walleye. Even though Walleye in the 16 to 22-inch range is the most common Walleye in the lake have been caught consistently over 28 inches and in the 7 to 10-pound range. If you target Walleye there is no reason why you can't catch 30 nice Walleye in a day. Regular guests that know the lake well can do way better. John makes sure all guests are put on the hotspots that produce fish and John is always happy to go through your tackle box and show you what works best. They have super nice lakefront housekeeping pine cabins with a beautiful main lodge for card playing and watching the big game on satellite TV. Their rates are very reasonable.

Eagle Eye Guiding is located on Eagle Lake in Northwestern Ontario. Greg grew up on Eagle Lake and knows every inch and his professional guiding skills are available for travelers or guests of any lodge on the lake. Eagle Lake is famous for Trophy Walleyes. Red Pine Lodge & Outpost Camps is located in the James Bay Frontier and in the heart of some of the best Walleye fishing in Ontario. Their main lodge is on the famous Ivanhoe Lake and not too far from Foleyet, Ontario. They have outstanding fishing for Walleye with great numbers and huge tropy Walleye. They offer both lakeside cottages at their main camp and remote boat-to outpost camps and a fly-in outpost camp.

Cozy Camp is located on the famous English River in Northern Ontario and up stream from Lac Seul. They have fantastic fishing for Walleye. Walleye average around 2.5 pounds with many Walleye over 10 pounds being caught and released all summer. From Cozy Camp you have access to 14 miles of Barrel Lake and 18 miles of the Walleye stuffed English River. They offer housekeeping cabins and outpost camps. They also have fantastic fishing for monster Northern Pike and huge Smallmouth Bass. A short drive from camp are lakes with Lake Trout, Brook Trout and Splake.

Moose Horn Lodge has great Walleye fishing and they have the pictures to prove it. You can fish McLennan Lake for Walleyes, which is where the lodge is located or you can drive to many other area lakes, streams and the Chapleau River where there is exceptional Walleye fishing. They offer brand new American Plan and Housekeeping Cottages and a new main lodge. This is a really beautiful lodge and extremely comfortable for people of all ages. They also have fishing for Northern Pike and Smallmouth Bass. Just a short distance from the lodge is a beautiful stream full of Brook Trout.

Lake Onaping Lodge & Northern Wilderness Outpost Camps is located on Lake Onaping, which has the best reputation for monster-size trophy Walleyes. In addition to big Walleye, smaller Walleyes in the 1 to 3-pound range can be caught in big numbers. This is big water and produces big fish. The northern part of the lake where the outpost camps are located is dotted with hundreds of islands and tons of Walleye hotspots. The lodge is located on the west shore and outpost cabins are located in various remote locations at the north-end of Lake Onaping. They also have great fishing for Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass and the southern end of the lake has monster Lake Trout.

Birch Dale Lodge is located on Eagle Lake and between Dryden & Vermilion Bay and just south of Waldhof, Ontario. The have outstanding fishing for big trophy walleyes. The lake is famous for monster size Walleyes and well as catching high numbers of good eating size Walleye. Their accommodations and rental boats are among the best in Northwestern Ontario. They also offer a meal plan where you choose what you want and you can cook your own steaks. As well they have outstanding fishing for Musky, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass and Lake Trout.

Flame Lake Lodge offers excellent Northern Ontario fishing for Walleye. They also have trails and waterways to other lakes for the more adventurous, including several trophy Walleye Lakes, all in an untouched wilderness setting. Accommodations include housekeeping cabin or American Plan in the main lodge. They also have great fishing for Northern Pike and Whitefish. Wabigoon Lake also has awesome fishing for Northern Pike, Musky and Smallmouth Bass.

Lac Seul Outpost Lodge shing for Walleye in a remote region of Lac Seul. Lac Seul is considered the best Walleye fishing lakes in Ontario with high numbers of Walleyes as well as big trophy Walleyes. It's not uncommon to catch over 80 Walleyes in a day. Many customers bring in Walleyes between 30 and 34 inches, which can be anywhere from 7 to 12 pounds. Depenting on the weather and time of year guests can expect to catch 20 to 80 Walleyes in a day. Throughout the summer Walleyes over 10 pounds get caught and released. Crystal Beach Resort is a family owned fishing camp with personal and friendly service. They offer beautiful, clean and comfortable accommodations at a reasonable price. Their lakes are Ontario's top Smallmouth Bass fishery as well as having excellent Northern Pike Fishing.

Prairie Bee Outpost Camp is located on Prairie Bee Lake, which is located between Chapleau and Wawa, Ontario. They have great Walleye fishing. Guests can expect to catch between 20 and 40 Walleyes per day with really good days where you can catch well over 50 Walleyes. The Walleyes are most common in the 1 to 3 pound range but 10 pounders over 30 inches are available. At the far west end of the lake they have an extremely remote outpost camp. The main camp is located at the north-east end of the lake. Both camps are extremely remote boat-to camps. From the main camp you have access to Windermere Lake, which is one of the best Walleye lakes in Ontario.

Seine River Lodge is located near Atikokan Ontario and between Quetico Provincial Park and the White Otter Wilderness Preserve. They have unbelievable fishing for Walleye. Not only are Walleyes available is vast numbers, they have guest bring in some over 35 inches during the summer. Not only can you fish a whole chain of lakes from a motor boat, you can canoe into remote lakes in Quetico Park where there are even more Walleyes. They offer Housekeeping log cabins, American Plan and camping. They are also a canoe rental store and a Canoe Trip Outfitter.

Happy Day Lodge is located on Windermere Lake, which is one of the best Walleye fishing lakes in the Chapleau area. Walleye fishing is excellent for both high numbers and trophy size. Walleyes are common in the two to five-pound range but there are plenty of trophies over tem pounds being caught and released. Actually, the Walleye fishing is so good at Happy Day Lodge that it is very hard to get a reservation because they are jam-packed with repeat guests. The lake is just swarming with Walleye. Happy Day Lodge is the only lodge on the lake. They have really nice lakeside cabins and boats and offer housekeeping accommodations.

Merkel's Camp is located between Dryden and Dinorwic Ontario and on the north shore of Wabigoon Lake with close access to Dinorwic Lake. Both of these lakes are considered among the best fishing lakes in Ontario with unbelievable fishing for Walleye. Walleyes are common in the 2 to 5-pound range with many over 30 inches being caught and releases. They also have fantastic fishing for Musky, Northern Pike, Perch, Crappie and Smallmouth Bass. They have 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom lakeside housekeeping cottages on Wabigoon Lake as well as an outpost camp on Little Basket Lake, which has fantastic Walleye fishing.

Green Wilderness Lodge & Outpost Camp is located in Northern Ontario between Timmins & Gogama. They are located in the north arm of Mattagami Lake, which is well known for having great Walleye fishing. Walleyes are available in all sizes but are most common in the 2 to 4-pound range. Their lake has big rivers and many feeder streams, which produces great spawning grounds for Walleye thus keeping the population high. Giant trophy Walleyes over 10 pounds get caught and released on a regular basis. They have nice cottages and boat-to outpost camps both on Mattagai Lake and smaller inland lakes. They also offer day-trips to fly-in trophy Walleye lakes.

Five Mile Lake Lodge is located on Five Mile Lake which is south of Chapleau, Ontario. They offer excellent fishing for Walleye. They are rated as 4 Star (****) accommodations with lakefront housekeeping cabins. Five Mile Lake itself is known for its good Walleye fishing. There are also Smallmouth Bass and there are fantastic Lake Trout lakesn close to camp.

Northwest Outfitters is a small and remote outpost lodge located on Shoal Lake and not far from the narrows leading to Lake of the Woods. Shoal Lake is a year round Walleye sanctuary. You cannot keep the Walleyes you catch in Shoal Lake. This is a catch-&-release Trophy Walleye Lake. It's the main spawning ground for all of Lake of the Woods and produces the biggest Walleyes you will find anywhere. It's also your best chance at catching the biggest Walleye of your life. This is Heaven for trophy Walleye hunters. Walleyes in the five to ten pound range are common. If you want to keep and eat Walleyes it is not that far to Lake of the Woods and out of the Walleye sanctuary. They offer an American Plan option and guiding. Their modern cottages are clean and comfortable. They also offer outstanding fishing for Musky, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass and Lake Trout. These species are not protected in the Walleye sanctuary so regular limits apply.
